🔧Ball Joint & Track Rod Replacement on Househam AR Sprayer🔧

We recently completed a ball joint and track rod replacement on a Househam AR self-propelled sprayer as part of a steering and suspension overhaul. The machine had developed excessive play in the steering system, affecting alignment and overall handling in the field.

Our engineers carried out a full inspection, identified worn components, and replaced both ball joints and track rods with high-quality parts to restore precise steering performance. Once fitted, we checked all joints, greased the linkages, and completed a full steering alignment and safety check.

The result a tighter, smoother steering response and a sprayer that’s once again ready to work reliably through the season.

Crop sprayer pump rebuild

🔧Pump Rebuild on Crop Sprayer🔧

This week in the workshop we carried out a full pump rebuild on a crop sprayer. The pump had been showing signs of low pressure and uneven output, so it was stripped down for inspection.

Our engineers found significant wear on the valves and diaphragms, along with debris build-up inside the chambers. The pump was fully cleaned, fitted with a complete new seal and valve kit, and reassembled to factory spec.

Another sprayer back in top working order, ready for the next round of applications!

🔧Bravo 180S Upgrade & Custom Mount Bracket🔧

We recently fitted an Arag Bravo 180S sprayer control system to a John Deere tractor for use on the customers trailed sprayer, complete with a custom-made mounting bracket designed and built in-house.

The new setup gives the operator easy access to all spray section controls and rate adjustment from the cab, with a clear, easy-to-read display. The bracket was fabricated and finished to fit perfectly with the existing cab layout — strong, stable, and positioned for comfortable use during long spraying days.

Once installed, the system was fully wired, configured, and tested, ensuring seamless communication with the sprayer’s valves and sensors.

A smart upgrade that improves accuracy, usability, and operator comfort — ready for another season in the field.

🔧Electrical Box Upgrade on Househam Sprayer🔧

This week we carried out an electrical system upgrade on a Househam self-propelled sprayer, replacing and modernising several of the original junction boxes and wiring.

The old enclosures had become weathered and unreliable, causing intermittent electrical faults and poor connections. We installed new sealed, weatherproof control boxes, re-routed and secured the wiring looms, and fitted new connectors to improve reliability and make future servicing easier.

All circuits were tested and labelled before the sprayer was returned to work — ensuring a neat, professional finish and dependable operation in all conditions.

Another Househam machine ready to get back in the field with upgraded electrics and improved system reliability.

🔧Wheel Bearing & Seal Replacement on Agribuggy Sprayer🔧

This week we carried out a wheel bearing and seal replacement on an Agribuggy self-propelled sprayer. The customer had reported excessive play and noise from the hub, indicating wear in the bearing assembly.

The wheel hub was removed, cleaned, and fully inspected before being fitted with new high-quality bearings and seals to restore smooth, reliable operation. All components were reassembled and torqued to specification, ensuring a perfect fit and long service life.

With the repair completed, the Agribuggy was back on its wheels and ready to return to the field — running smoothly and safely once again.

🔧Brake O-Ring Replacement on Househam Sprayer🔧

We attended a Househam self-propelled sprayer to carry out a brake system repair, following reports of a fluid leak and reduced braking performance.

After inspection, we identified a worn O-ring seal within the brake assembly as the cause of the issue. The old seal was removed and replaced with a new, high-quality component, and the system was cleaned.

Once reassembled, the brakes were bled and pressure-tested to ensure safe and consistent operation. The sprayer is now back on the job with a fully functioning braking system and no leaks.

🔧Sight Gauge Repair on Househam Sprayer🔧

We carried out a sight gauge repair on this Househam self-propelled sprayer, after the operator reported inaccurate tank level readings and signs of a small leak.

The faulty gauge and fittings were removed, cleaned, and replaced with new components to restore clear, accurate visibility of the tank contents. All seals and connections were inspected and tightened to ensure a watertight system.

The result — a fully functional sight gauge providing reliable level indication and preventing unnecessary downtime in the field. Another tidy job keeping this Househam sprayer in top condition!

🔧Upgraded Air Seat Installation🔧

We recently fitted an upgraded air suspension seat to replace the original operator seat, giving this sprayer a serious boost in comfort and ergonomics.

The new Grammer air seat provides smoother ride quality, adjustable suspension, and full lumbar and armrest support — ideal for long spraying days in the cab. The installation was carried out with all original mounting points retained, ensuring a secure and factory-quality fit.

A simple upgrade that makes a huge difference to comfort, operator fatigue, and productivity in the field.

🔧Headlight Replacement on Househam AR Sprayer🔧

This week we carried out a headlight replacement on a Househam AR self-propelled sprayer for one of our customers. The original units had become dim and unreliable, reducing visibility during early morning and late evening spraying.

Our team fitted a pair of high-efficiency headlights, designed for agricultural applications, giving a much brighter, cleaner beam and greatly improving safety and visibility in the field. The upgrade was completed quickly on-site, minimising downtime and ensuring the machine was ready to go straight back to work.

We also checked the electrical connections and light alignment to ensure everything was performing perfectly before handing it back over.

Another satisfied customer and another sprayer ready for a busy season ahead!
